Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC will now feature uniquely themed days with entrepreneurial speakers, interactive events, and late-night activities throughout the week. The first day, Monday, March 20, will be Kickoff Day.

Businessmen Jeff and Johnny Inch of Inch&Co. will share their story during a York LaunchBox presentation set for March 21 in the Graham Center for Innovation and Collaboration at Penn State York. Registration for the event is required.

Governor proposes 7.1% increase for Penn State’s 2023-24 general support funding
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro proposed a 7.1% funding increase for Penn State’s 2023-24 general support appropriation and for Pennsylvania College of Technology, and a 2% funding increase for Penn State Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension, during his first budget address as governor, which was delivered March 7 during a joint session of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.

Penn State Berks Flemming CEED Center announces Customer Discovery Lab
Budding entrepreneurs are invited to apply to the Penn State Berks Customer Discovery Lab, a four-week series of workshops organized by the college’s Flemming Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED) Center. This opportunity is open to Penn State students, recent alumni, faculty, staff, and community members interested in exploring the commercial viability of their idea or innovation.

6 Penn State student startups to compete for up to $30,000 in Inc.U Competition
Six Penn State student startups have been selected as finalists in Invent Penn State’s Inc.U Competition. Each team will compete for up to $30,000 in funding in a pitch competition being held during Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC.
