Alumni-owned barber wear startup SLCKR growing with help from Invent Penn State Image PS CMS Size 1200x900 Correct.png?h=510cbb6e&itok=eRy9MWBP

Penn State alumni Tyler Tracey and Ben Johnson launched elevated barber wear startup SLCKR in January 2021. They were able to grow their business through the Invent Penn State Summer Founders Program. Two years later, SLCKR ended 2022 with more than $140,000 in sales.

The Mont Alto LaunchBox powered by Penn State is hosting its sixth annual LION Tank on March 22. Regional entrepreneurs are invited to apply to participate in the pitch competition by midnight on March 1.

Barnes and Noble College announces grants to student programs across University

In a continuation of its longtime partnership with Penn State, Barnes & Noble College, a Barnes & Noble Education company, which operates the Penn State Bookstore, has awarded a 2022-23 round of grants to support a range of programs and initiatives across the University.
