Invent Penn State LaunchBox and Innovation Network supports startups across Pa.
Invent Penn State’s LaunchBox and Innovation Network has provided a wide array of no-cost entrepreneurial resources to innovators across the state for the past six years. With 96% of Pennsylvanians having a LaunchBox or innovation space within 30 miles of where they live or work, the Network is helping to address the need for entrepreneurial resources in more rural regions.

Penn State ranked in top 25 nationally for undergraduate entrepreneurship
Penn State has been ranked as the No. 23 school for undergraduate entrepreneurship studies in the United States by The Princeton Review in its annual ratings measuring individual schools’ performances. Among schools in the Mid-Atlantic region, Penn State came in at No. 3.

Abington LaunchBox marks entrepreneurship week with video series on innovation
The Penn State Abington LaunchBox will mark Global Entrepreneurship Week with the YouTube premiere of its “tech-umentary” series at 2 p.m. on Nov. 15. The 30-minute episodes will utilize vintage technology to illustrate the importance of using innovation as a critical first step to solve problems and challenges.
Students invited to explore entrepreneurship during GEW Penn State
Students can present their startups and network at Demo Day during Global Entrepreneurship Week Penn State. Demo Day, hosted by student organization Innoblue, will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 14 in Room 603 of the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre plans entrepreneurship events
Penn State Wilkes-Barre will offer several events during Global Entrepreneurship Week, held this year from November 14-18. Global Entrepreneurship Week connects community members and aspiring entrepreneurs with Penn State’s vibrant ecosystem of investors, researchers and startup champions. GEW Penn State will host presentations, workshops and networking opportunities geared specifically to entrepreneurs, local startups and innovators throughout the state. The events are free and open to the public.
