NCPA LaunchBox helps bring Beaver Commons to life at DuBois Area High School
A wall covering measuring 19 feet long and nearly 6 feet high was created on the new advanced vinyl printer in the on-campus Idea Lab, providing a focal point and displaying school spirit for the new Beaver Commons Area at DuBois Area High School.

Mar. 17 LaunchBox event to provide overview of $50,000 BIG Idea Contest
The North Central PA LaunchBox powered by Penn State DuBois will host an informational event on this year’s BIG Idea Contest on March 17 at the LaunchBox Event Center, in DuBois. Everyone in Centre, Clarion, Clearfield and Jefferson Counties are invited to attend the event to learn more about the BIG Idea Contest and how they can enter an idea for a business or product.

Donor Keiko Miwa Ross makes gifts to fuel innovation and entrepreneurship
Keiko Miwa Ross, a State College resident and Penn State’s 2020 Philanthropist of the Year, has made new gifts that will fuel innovation and entrepreneurship among Penn State students and citizens of the region. In recognition of her generosity, the University will rename multiple spaces in the Innovation Hub and the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.

Advanced 3D scanning expands NCPA LaunchBox services for industry, startups
The North Central PA LaunchBox powered by Penn State DuBois continues to add tools to its state-of-the-art lineup of technology aimed at developing area businesses and industry. The latest piece of equipment available for use by industry partners and individuals, a turntable 3D scanner, just arrived in the on-campus Idea Lab in February.

6 Penn State student startups set to compete for $30,000 in Inc.U Competition
Six Penn State student startup teams have been selected as finalists in the Invent Penn State Inc.U Competition and are set to compete for $30,000 in funding on “The Investment,” a WPSU Shark Tank-like television production that will be livestreamed during Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC.
