TechCelerator @ State College to Host Virtual Pitch Contest for $10,000 Prize

Five entrepreneurial State College teams just completed a ten-week virtual startup boot camp as part of Ben Franklin’s TechCelerator @ State College. On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, starting at 2 pm, the teams will pitch their tech-based business concepts to a panel of independent judges for a cash prize of up to $10,000.

The graduating startups that will be pitching include:

  • NotePro, a unique medical content system
  • HydroSapient, a model for predicting soil moisture, stream flow, and water temperature
  • Xora, an innovation that allows users to create augmented reality (AR) applications easily
  • eVOxS, a method for implementing emerging materials with current technology to create new electrical devices
  • My Healthy Globe, a platform that facilitates rapid engagement in a community to assess health issues and solutions

In partnership with Invent Penn State, the Ben Franklin TechCelerator @ State College offers the region’s entrepreneurs, students, faculty members, and small business owners entrepreneurial training in ten-week seminars.
